Walldrawings

The shown walldrawings refer to images of dwelling productions from advertising brochures and mail order catalogs.

Those installations of seats are transferred as lifesized drawings onto the wall and floor that - if the viewer approaches the image frontally - from a certain point of view the perspective of the real space is continued in the walldrawing and/or the walldrawing seems like a 3-d model in the space. If the viewer takes another point of view the illusion of the space that was constructed by the walldrawing will be gone.

In that way the inaccessibility of the idealized model space from the advertisment picture becomes a subject because the viewer is confronted with the impenetrability of the wall at every moment.
